Warranty at a glance
30-day confidence protection
If a failure of performance or workmanship is evident in the first 30 days of receipt of your TOMi™ unit, we replace it at no charge.

Care and attention: Ceres™ sensor performance
The research-grade turfgrass scientific Ceres™ sensor is exceptionally precise and accurate. Cared for, it will perform to specification indefinitely. Because of wear in turf systems, on average you should plan to replace the sensor once per active season so TOMi™ keeps giving uncompromised insight.
You can remain confident in TOMi™’s sensor performance, meeting specifications into the foreseeable future with proper care, maintenance, and routine replacement of the sensor assembly due to wearing, breaking or bending from regular use. What is covered
This warranty covers failures resulting from:
- Manufacturing defects
- Defects in workmanship
- Defects in materials
- Failures occurring during intended professional turfgrass use
- Operation in accordance with the TOMi™ user guide instructions
What is not covered
This warranty does not cover failures resulting from:
- Accidental drops or impacts
- Abuse, misuse or negligence
- Improper operation
- Unauthorized modifications, repairs or tinkering
- Water intrusion
- Chemical damage
- Fire, flood, lightning or other acts of nature
- Normal cosmetic wear including scratches, wearing, or degradation of surfaces and appearances
- Damage during transportation by the customer
- Use of non-approved accessories
Normal wear components
The following are subject to normal wear during routine professional use and are not covered unless the failure results from a defect in materials or workmanship:
- Sampling tines
- Protective finishes
- Cosmetic surfaces
- Normal cosmetic wear, surface scratching, or gradual deterioration of touchscreen clarity or touch responsiveness resulting from routine professional use
- Replaceable accessories
Firmware and software
Firmware and software updates and products are offered separately from this warranty. This warranty covers the hardware only.
Warranty service
- Contact your authorized PURE Insight™ distributor or dealer first.

- Provide the serial number, proof and date of purchase, and a detailed description of the issue.
PURE Insight may request return of the product for inspection before approving warranty service.
Limitation of liability
Except as expressly stated herein, PURE Insight™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business, or loss of turf quality or tournament revenue — whether based in contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), product liability or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
- This warranty is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA.
